Tavistock House Hotel
Tavistock House Hotel is a privately owned townhouse hotel in Tavistock Devon which was built by the Duke of Bedford circa 1820. We are located on Plymouth Road opposite Tavistock Tennis club and Meadowlands Park.
The townhouse has been lovingly restored offering individually designed rooms in sumptuous surroundings where you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Each room has free high speed WiFi, a bespoke mix of furniture, Hypnos Lansdowne Cashmere pocket sprung beds, 500 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, 40 inch Samsung Smart 3D TVs with free access to Netflix so you can enjoy movies and catch up on programs at your leisure. In addition all the rooms have personal tablets to use with free digital newspapers, upgrade to the Deluxe and Luxury rooms which include access to a huge range of free magazines through the Readly App.
The rooms range from our cosy Classic King (small double room) to our spacious Luxury Super King room all providing high standard en-suite facilities, rain showers, Noble Isle toiletries, slippers and dressing gowns, furthermore all rooms now have Nespresso coffee machines. You can also enjoy freshly cooked breakfasts and light lunches throughout the day served in the elegantly decorated lounge which has an original fireplace, cornices and paneled walls - as we are a Townhouse Hotel we do not provide restaurant facilities in the evening however we are only a short walk to an abundance of great restaurants in Tavistock town center.
